He Died at a Young Age — Poem
He died at a young age
Ever since
I have lost my pillar of support
I have lost my life advisor
I have lost direction
He was my postman
He was my driver
He is my father
He died at 63 years old
He died at a young age

My father was a mediocre man living a mediocre life, I won’t be able to write his biography but I can write him a poem.
As quoted from Robert Woodruff Anderson, “Death ends a life, but it does not end a relationship.” My father will always live in my heart, no matter where he is.

The Shortest Letter
Dear dad,
I hope you are well, no matter where you are. Legend has it that, if we do not dream of you, it means you are well.
We are well too. Take care.
Note to myself
Time spent: 1 minute!
Since it is supposed to be a short letter, so I only want to know whether dad is well. I used to write long letters to my father when I attended university. The letters serve as a summary of my university life and my father would advise me on any problems I encountered.
My father died 5 years ago. Our immediate family members have never dreamt of him, so we assume he is now living at somewhere happily and without worries. I hope my dad would pick up this letter, no matter where he is now.
